Niels Kristian Aarhus Nielsen is the first driver at KEDA Motorsport, which in 2026 will expand the team to include the Nordic 4 Championship.
The go-kart driver from Kibæk will swap go-karts for single-seater cars in the coming season when he and KEDA Motorsport embark on his first season in Nordic 4. The driver is naturally looking forward to the new challenges:
– “I’m really excited about everything, both the new car and the collaboration with KEDA Motorsport. It will be something completely different from karting, but I’m ready to take the leap. I’ve followed Nordic 4 closely and it seems like the right place to continue my development. It feels good to already have next season under control now, so now it’s just about preparation, and I hope the rain gods are still with me, also in single-seaters,” says Niels Kristian Aarhus Nielsen.
Team Manager at KEDA Motorsport, Kevin Suenson, is looking forward to being part of Nordic 4 together with Niels Kristian Aarhus Nielsen:
– “Niels has already shown great speed and understanding of the many aspects of motorsport and we look forward to starting this journey with him. Our goal is simple: to provide the best possible environment for him to grow; both as a racing driver and as a member of a professional team. With the new Aquila Formula Nova and a great team around him, he has a good chance of doing well,” says the team principal.
KEDA Motorsport is currently active in the Aquila Formula 1000 championship in Sweden, but will join Nordic 4 in 2026 as an arrive & drive team focusing on young talent from across Scandinavia.
