After several seasons in Aquila Formula 1000, the racing driver from Stockholm is now making the jump to Nordic 4 in 2026. He will compete in his own team, JJB Racing, with a newly built Aquila Formula Nova.
“Nordic 4 and the new Aquila Formula Nova feels like the perfect step for me. After racing the Aquila Formula 1000 for a few seasons, I’m ready for a faster car and tougher competition. This concept of a new, modern and affordable single-seater is something I really believe in and I’m looking forward to being involved from the start,” says Jonatan Ölander about the plans for the coming season.
After almost a decade, the current Mygale M14-F4 will be replaced by the Danish designed and built Aquila Formula Nova. With a focus on modern safety, high performance and low cost, it will secure the future of developing Scandinavian motorsport talent.
Testing of the new formula car will start shortly and the first cars are expected to be ready for delivery in November-December 2025.
