The upcoming season brings both a new Scandinavian formula car and a new tyre supplier for the Nordic 4 formula drivers.
As part of the development of the new Aquila Formula Nova, which will make its debut in the Nordic 4 championship this year, tyres from a number of manufacturers have been tested to find the best solution with respect to both performance and economy for the drivers.
The choice has fallen on tyres from Nova Motorsport, which has secured invaluable motorsport knowledge with the acquisition of Avon Tyres last year. The Nova Motorsport tyres are the best solution for the new Aquila Formula Nova, but the Formula 4 and Formula 5 cars will also benefit from the new tyres:
“I’m delighted that we’ve managed to reach an agreement with Nova Motorsport to use their tyres in Nordic 4. Our tyre test in the autumn clearly showed that we get good value for money here, while at the same time ensuring consistent quality for all participants across chassis,” says promoter Alex Stubberup Frederichsen.
The tyres will continue to be supplied by Bruno Hansen Motorsport, which will also continue its service at the race tracks. Prices will be announced shortly.
