The Nordic 4 series returns to Sturup Raceway this weekend, when the fourth round of this year’s championship takes place at the Swedish racetrack.
The last time the formula cars were given the green flag on the circuit near the Øresund Bridge was during the 2022 season. The circuit remains much the same, however, with its unique combination of fast and slow corners mixed with a couple of noticeable elevation changes. It’s the perfect challenge for the young talents, who will be halfway through the 2026 season this weekend.
STEP Motorsport’s Matteis Stigsen has got off to a flying start and leads both the overall and Rookie championships, whilst his team-mate, Dutch driver Rosanne den Drijver, is fifth in the overall championship. The pair are sure to have their work cut out for them, as the two Aquila drivers, Richard Olson and Jonathan Öhlander, are getting faster with every weekend.
A total of five female drivers are entered in the Nordic 4 field this weekend, and several of them have already made it onto the podium at the start of the season. RaceCraft Driver Academy’s Milla Sjöstrand, Rosanne den Drijver and Mille Hoe have all been right up there at the front, and there is no reason to think things will be any different this weekend.
As always, there will be three races over the weekend, and you can follow the action via a live stream directly from the track.
