A ten-day break is enough for the young talents, so Nordic 4 is back on the tarmac this weekend when the second round of the championship is held at FDM Jyllandsringen.
After a surprising start to the season in Southern Jutland, the development work for the talents continues this weekend. Matteis Stigsen, who became the youngest ever to take pole position and win a race in Nordic 4, is back with STEP Motorsport, where he will not be joined by Rosanne den Drijver, who was also strong in her debut weekend, due to exams.
Second in the championship is Mille Hoe, who stepped out of her older brother’s shadow at Padborg Park and showed that she can also drive strongly. With three podiums out of three, she has plenty to fight for at Jyllandsringen, but she should expect resistance from the likes of Milla Sjöstrand, who also showed her teeth in the final heat.
Leonél Skaar and Richard Olson are also back with the new Aquila Formula Nova, which showed impressive speed in the opening race. With several teething problems cured since the last race, it will be exciting to see if the race track in central Jutland will be the setting for the new car’s first victory.
As in the first race weekend of the year, Nordic 4 is once again part of the Danish Supercar League, which offers plenty of entertainment on and off the track. In addition, Sunday’s race will be shown live on DSL’s YouTube channel.
